Our Story

Gill Odd Fellows Home is a leader in the long-term care industry, specializing in skilled nursing services and long term care.  At the Gill Odd Fellows Home of Vermont, we focus on providing compassionate, dignified care in a home-like environment, aiming to enhance the quality of life for residents and empower them to achieve their highest level of well-being. This includes a commitment to clinical excellence, fostering independence, and creating a supportive community for all that call 8 Gill Terrace- home.

We do this by: Prioritizing the overall well-being and happiness of residents, going beyond just medical care. Offering care with empathy, understanding, and respect for individual needs and preferences. Promoting residents' dignity and supporting their ability to maintain as much independence as possible.

Providing high-quality medical and nursing care, including rehabilitation services, while creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that residents can feel at home in.

We do this by tailoring care plans to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual, while fostering a sense of community and belonging among residents, staff, and families. We encourage family involvement in the resident's care and well-being. Founded in 1896 by Odd Fellows, we were driven by a vision to help make the world a better place to live by aiding each other in times of need and by organizing charitable projects and activities that would benefit the less fortunate, the youth, the elderly, the environment and the community in every way possible

Today, we're a team of less than 100 passionate individuals dedicated to fulfilling our mission to help make the world a better place to live by aiding each other in times of need and by organizing charitable projects and activities that would benefit the less fortunate, the youth, the elderly, the environment and the community in every way possible.
